will the flip ultra camcorder fit on a tripod not the tiny accessory tripod a real tripod stand that goes over 41 inches high thx
Well, you have asked sort of a trick question.
First of all, I didn’t know what a “flip ultra camcorder” was until I did some surfing and looked it up. “Oh! One of the new “miniatures.” How interesting. I might have to pick up one of those myself.
2nd, as a photographer with over 40 years experience, it’s my experience that “a tripod mount is a tripod mount.”
3rd if you are planning to use a “real tripod that goes over 41 inches high”, I’d be shopping for a REAL tripod if I were you. A 41 inch high tripod is a wee bit over 3 feet tall. I don’t know what you have in mind, but a REAL tripod will extend over your head if you’re 7 feet tall. You’d have to stand on a ladder to look through your viewfinder. (a “Tiltall comes to mind) Last I looked, a Tiltall tripod retails for around $99.99.
At any rate, if you’re going to use a 41 incher, and it’s gonna be sufficient for your needs, you should be fine. Just don’t bump it or jostle it.
