Last time I bought a camcorder was 15 years ago, What is the latest technology that will stick?
Im interested in purchasing a new camcorder, but have no idea what is the best and latest technology that will be around for a few years to come. I dont want a quick fading fad…..My last was a Sony Mini Dv. camcorder, is that technology going out or staying??

Just looking for some opinions,
A new Sony MiniDV is the way to go or an HDV. Camcorders with DVD or hard disk as the recording media are not the most reliable. For portability and reliability you can’t beat tape and the best tape on the market is MiniDV.
