How do I get my Sony HDR-SR10 to work better with Sony Vegas 9?
i got vegas 9 a few months ago and have only used it like once or twice cause its incredibly slow….when i save a video from my camcorder on to my computer and open it in vegas it only shows just a few frames every couple of seconds….it records in .MTS or .M2TS and is an Avchd Camcorder….editing is such a hassle that i have almost given up with the whole program….it took me multiple hours editing some clips into a 3 minute video and adding music…not cause it was complicated but because it took like 5 minutes to figure out which video was which…..HELP! im about screw sony and get adobe…….please HELP!!!!!!! im about to stab my computer
I have a dell dimension 8400 running windows xp professional and it has roughly 115 gb free disk space….i have no idea about the RAM and ghz so…hope that helps
Since you did not tell us anything about the computer you are running, there is no way for us to know if it really is the application or the computer. AVCHD is a hog. That is a given.
If your computer has less than 4 gig RAM, its internal hard drive has 20% or less available hard disc space, you are not using an external drive for the video project files and your computer’s CPU merely meets the Sony spec to deal with AVCHD video (you should exceed this – by a lot), then you will most likely have problems with Adobe Premiere, too.
